Bonus-malus is the system of discounts (“Good-Bad”, Latin translation) used in insurance which changes value of insurance premium to be paid by the client to the insurer depending on the history of events insured. Bonus-malus rating increases upon with accident-free driving, and decreases in case of a traffic accident due to the client’s fault.
